Marlon Brown, 29, of Queens, was arrested on Tuesday, Oct. 29, after Greenwich Police responded to the Cos Cob train station on a report of a suspicious vehicle possibly involved in drug activity, said Greenwich Police Lt. John Slusarz.
When police arrived on the scene, they found Brown who gave officers two fake names before his real identity was discovered by taking his fingerprints, Slusarz said.
A search of his vehicle turned up the "fishing" device, he added.
A check of his background found three extraditable warrants from the New York City Police Department.
Brown was arrested and charged with interfering with an officer/or resisting and possession of burglary tools.
He is being held until he is extradited.
